Had a tough day, well 30hrs on southern upland way, bog after bog, then when feet were now trench foot and totally wrecked uneven stoney paths... Weather was changeable and very windy up high, hence low level route enforced from Moffat. Pleased I finished 🙂 @UltraScotland

⏰Just your 48 hours in the weekend and CAAC's Tristan Rabaeijs spent an astonishing 29 hours and 44 mins of it running in this. He finished a superb 11th in the longer race, which was extended to 111 miles due to bad weather.🤯 Amazing achievement.

🔶️ Breaking News 🔶️ For the first time in our history, in both the Ultra Scotland 50 & 100 mile events, a female has finished in the top 3 overall podium places. ⚠️ They both beat the existing female course records, too! Congratulations, Jill Mykura & Rebecca Hormann 👏⚡️

Sorry for no further updates on @MrsBMumOfFour after Moffat... too busy running together for the last 40 miles of @UltraScotland. She really put in a shift and only went ahead and won it 👏👏👏 Quite a turnaround considering she was basically dead mid-afternoon on Saturday 😲

Should have been running this myself but knew that I would not be able to tolerate the hot weather. Instead diverted my energy into supporting son Ryan who went on to successfully complete it. Well done to all runners and another great event from GB Ultras 👏

CP2: Sanquhar is the first one with crew access. @MrsBMumOfFour came in hot but still smiling. 🥵 Loaded up on sausage, potatoes, beans and watermelon - quite the combo - then back out on the trail. 3rd place lady, about half an hour behind the leader 💪💪💪
