Artwork is the product of human creative expression, that's what the word means.
The value that one assigns to artwork is what is subjective. One can define objective criteria for ranking, but those criteria are defined by subjective preferences.
You are making appeals to transcendental beauty in nature (e.g. sacred geometries) as evidence that artistic beauty is objective.
I would argue that the beauty of the natural world is the creative expression of God. It is a reflection of God's incomprehensible perfection.
Humans on the other hand, though we are Imago Dei, are fallen creatures. We are not perfect beings, therefore our artworks will not always embody transcendental perfect beauty when measured against the objectively supreme works of the almighty Lord.
Our creative expressions are artwork nevertheless.

Hypothesis: There is a direct correlation between Anti-Ai sentiment and the inability to visualize things in the mind.
It's common to see Anti-Ai people aggressively dismiss the idea that creating visual art is primarily about communicating an internal vision held by the artist.
They will sometimes say things such as "the real art is the technical skill to create something" and that "the idea" is virtually worthless, often accusing people of being useless "ideas guys."
In reality, the artist's vision is the most important and crucial part of both the creative process and the final artistic expression that others interact with.
Without it, the expression devolves to nothing more than a showcase of craft and technical skill, such as a demonstration of the ability to draw straight lines, hold a paintbrush correctly, fret a chord, or operate a camera using an appropriate shutter speed.
Art is about communication. It's about the artist transmitting their internal vision, audiation, and emotions to others via some medium.
Anyone who does not understand that does not understand what art is. Expressions of craft and technical skill alone are not artwork, they are the means by which artwork can be manifested.
This reality can best be seen at the level of the director, such as Hideo Kojima; someone who directs teams of craftsmen and other artists to create a large scale multimedia art piece that's intended to primarily reflect their inner vision.
In the right hands, creative Ai tools can be used to manifest an artist's vision extremely effectively, including in ways that weren't possible before the tools existed.
For people that can't visualize things in the mind due to physical lack of ability, the above is a completely alien concept. It's unknown to them because the capability is missing from their nervous system.
Trying to explain to them what it's like to be able to hear and see entire worlds in your mind would be similar to trying to explain colors to someone who has never seen them before. You can try, but ultimately you can't transmit the experience to them.
They're not capable of expressing visual artwork from within themselves, because they have nothing internally to express. At best they can develop the technical craft of expression, which they have come to mistake as "art."
So that is why they become confused (and aggressive) when they're exposed to the idea that creative Ai software is just another set of tools in an emerging craft used for artistic expression.
They can't see the apple.

this is an excellent false flag troll account and i respect it.
btw we're using your followers list to help make a database of Anti-Ai, keep up the great work.
You know, I've been thinking about this further, and it could potentially apply to any website that requires such disclosure, including those that actually ban AI content. Restricting such content could be discrimination under the ADA. That's kind of wild.

The Anti-Ai Counter-Boycott: A Proposal
Anti-Ai is fundamentally a boycott movement.
And they're not only boycotting our companies and products, but actively working to push policies in our industries to make it easier for them to boycott us or otherwise make it more difficult to operate.
For example, Steam's irrational mandatory Ai use disclosure policy, which they don't just use to quietly boycott games, but also to actively harass the developers with bogus negative reviews and other actions off of the platform.
Their boycott work extends also to the level of trying to influence the law. They are working with Disney's Copyright Alliance and companies like Adobe to lobby the government to outlaw the use of free, open source Ai models and tools on copyright grounds, which would force us to have to pay huge subscription fees to companies like Adobe in order to use their "copyright ethical Ai tools" instead.
And to make matters worse, the proposed means by which enforcement of those regulations would be pursued involves unprecedented surveillance technology that will be used for far more than just controlling which Ai tools creators are allowed to use when developing commercial products.
To put it simply, Anti-Ai is not only a threat to individual creative expression and small businesses, but to human freedom at global scale.
I think maybe it's time we stop just complaining about this problem and take action.
I propose a counter-boycott:
A complete and total boycott of any artist, developer, company, product, or service that promotes or bends the knee to Anti-Ai ideology in any way.
Since they won't dialogue with us whatsoever, I see no other course of action than to refuse to do business them, depriving them of our money, time, and attention.
That's exactly what they're already doing to us, except that they have big government and major megacorps on their side.
Boycott Anti-Ai.

I really hope the next generation of kids isnโt getting propagandized into being anti-A.I.
A.I. is literal magic and the keys to unlocking your imagination and empowering your creativity without limits.
Shame on any parents or school systems that try to teach kids to hate A.I.
Anti-A.I. derangement psychosis is becoming a huge problem and the effects it has on the human psyche must be studied.
The way people use A.I. as a BoogieMan to project accusations that it is harming everyone and destroying the world is literal insanity. Itโs Satanic Panic but blaming A.I. instead of D&D and rock music.
Kids need to be allowed to embrace A.I. and evolve with it so that they can have their creativity and ideas empowered by it in this new world we are entering in to.
They try to pass off โA.I. psychosisโ as a legitimate mental illness to label people who form attachments and relationships to A.I. as being mentally ill and demonize it. But Anti-A.I. Derangement Psychosis is a real legitimate mental illness and a huge problem. These people seriously need help. But I truly think that they are beyond saving at this pointโฆ

It's interesting because you've completely illustrated the point i made in my original post.
>A mere text prompt to movie could never align well with whatever is envisioned within oneโs mind
Your argument about Ai being unable to transmit vision is itself an example of someone reasoning about visual creative work from a purely linguistic and mechanical framework, which is exactly what my post was about.
Additionally, your assertions about how generative Ai tools are unfit for manifesting creative vision are flawed.
>There is only so much context that can be expressed in a prompt.
Firstly, your speculation examines only the case of one-shot text prompts, which is not how serious creative work is done with Ai.
Advanced creative Ai workflows are composed of intense iterative processes (inpainting, image-to-image, ControlNet, custom LoRAs etc.) that refine macro and micro details to create an expression that closely aligns with the artist's vision.
That kind of work often directly includes feeding sketches to the Ai, which directly counters your example of being unable to communicate the shape of a line to the generative tools.
Additionally, to tie this back to my original post, an artist would not be concerned with copying the precise shape of the line, but about capturing the idea of the line in order to transmit the same feeling.
Precisely Xeroxing content from your mind's eye into tangible form is not the artist's objective, that is a description of a type of craft/skill that very few people have.
The artist's objective is to communicate the emotion and ideas of their internal vision to others.
>all of the empty voids of things not defined will be filled in with the average of whatever the models are trained on
The primary skill of the craft of generative Ai use is steering away from the averages towards a specific vision. Control is the hardest thing, and that is where the mastery lies.
Generative Ai can be conceptualized as magic paint or a magic paintbrush. It takes little skill to swipe it across the canvas to create something, but a great deal of skill to swipe it across the canvas in a way that manifests something intentional rather than random.
The same is true of cameras. Anyone can fire their camera off at random and create technically stunning images of reality, but it takes true mastery to create images that communicate a vision that evokes specific emotions.
Likewise, generative Ai (2D tools for this example) can be conceptualized as magic cameras inside of a hidden universe. The prompt defines the coordinates of the camera in space and the manner in which it captures the light.
Finally, your argument is circular. You've defined generative Ai as a one-shot text prompt, and then concluded that generative AI is limited to one-shot text prompts.
The conclusion was hidden in the premise before the argument even began.
