Excited to present my unreleased short film, Prémonition (2024), in Marfa @artblocks_io , at the Crowley Theatre, alongside a new print release from the Peruvian Andes. The release features two artworks: one created during the making of the film, and another captured from the summit of the opposite peak. Print samples will be on display in person, and both artworks will be available to purchase online for a limited time. About the film : Prémonition is a short film following photographer Cath Simard into the Peruvian Andes, documenting the beginning of her mountaineering journey and the growing intersection between physical endurance and artistic creation. Moving through high altitude and physical exhaustion, the film offers an intimate look at the challenges behind Simard’s images and the experiences that continue to shape both her artistic practice and her relationship with the mountains. When ? Crowley Theatre on Saturday October 24th 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM See you in Marfa!
