It is also extremely suspicious that Lula only gained in the cities and along the coastline, and lost a lot of ground in the rural northeast & south. Any ballot manipulation would be easiest along the coastline.
🇧🇷 Ladies and gentlemen, if the speculation on the just released TSE reports are indeed true, then we have to say that, um, we may have correctly predicted the second turn down to the raw votes after all, just like we did the first turn. We are not jumping to conclusions, as we are launching our own investigation. We usually don’t do this for democratic countries, but our prediction was so off this cycle that suspicious arose within our team. That suspicion dramatically increased when the same methodology of ours just correctly predicted the Israeli Election.
Follow us to keep in touch with the Brazilian situation and international electoral politics.

O BURACO NEGRO DE DUAS HORAS: O QUE O RELATÓRIO DA OEA REALMENTE DIZ SOBRE A JANELA ZANIN E QUE A IMPRENSA ESCONDEU
Por: Mooska (@LagSignal)
Obs.

Flávio Bolsonaro issues his first official statement since arriving in the United States, confirming what I reported yesterday about his departure from Brazil and the protection he says he has received.
Here are the key points:
1. Flávio declares himself the legitimate president-elect of Brazil and denounces massive electoral fraud in favor of Lula.
2. He questions how Lula gained more than 10 million additional votes between the first and second rounds and accuses Brazil’s Supreme Court of interfering with the electoral process.
3. He confirms that he left Brazil with his family and is now safe in the United States.
4. He personally thanks Argentine President Javier Milei for his courage, sense of justice, and respect for the rule of law.
He also thanks President Donald Trump and the American people for welcoming his family, describing America as a land of freedom and shared values.
5. He thanks President Trump and the U.S. government for providing the legal security he says no longer exists in Brazil.
6. He states that there is no arrest warrant against him but denounces an attempt to confiscate his passports and a politically motivated campaign to imprison and silence him.
7. He makes it clear: “I did not flee Brazil.” He says he left to preserve his freedom and continue leading the Brazilian people.
8. He announces that he will lead the Brazilian opposition from the United States, speaking freely against Lula and the Brazilian judicial establishment, as I shared before.
9. He compares his political exile to those of Charles de Gaulle, José Martí, and Venezuelan opposition leaders who continued fighting for their countries from abroad.
10. He calls on Brazilian senators, governors, and members of Congress to stand up against political persecution and restore the balance of power.
11. He calls on the international community not to normalize what he describes as the destruction of democracy and the rule of law in Brazil.
His statement confirms the central facts I reported yesterday: Flávio Bolsonaro left Brazil, arrived safely in the United States with his family, and says he has received protection from President Trump’s administration.
His statement does not formally confirm that political asylum has already been granted, but it makes his intentions absolutely clear.
He says he is not abandoning Brazil. He is preparing to lead the opposition from American soil.
This is just the beginning.
God bless Brazil. God bless the United States of America!

Every reputable journalist outside Brazil must read this before writing about Alexandre de Moraes’s latest target, Flávio Bolsonaro.
CRUCIAL FACTS ON THE FLAVIO BOLSONARO MATTER:
It's not just Flavio Bolsonaro who fled Brazil to escape the tyrannical persecution of Alexandre de Moraes and the pro-Lula wing of the Supreme Court. There are dozens of Brazilian exiles who have done the same: dissident journalists, activists, bloggers, and politicians who all fled to avoid certain prison for political opposition.
In most of these cases, Moraes has demanded the extradition of those who fled and whom he wants to imprison back in Brazil. But Moraes' extradition requests have been repeatedly denied by multiple countries and institutions on the grounds that these prosecutions are politically motivated or otherwise corrupted. Among those concluing this: Spain, Italy, INTERPOL, and even the US under Biden.
Just today, Italy refused Brazil's demand to extradite a person named @edutagli, who was once a top aide to Moraes, but then fled to Italy after Moraes accused him of having been my source in a huge leak from Moraes' office that I obtained for reporting I did with @Folha in 2024. That massive leak enabled us to publish roughly 20 articles proving systemic abuses of power by Moraes against his political enemies: exactly the reason so many Brazilians, including Bolsonaro, know they can't get a fair trial in Brazil.
Italy today refused to extradite the person accused of being our source on the grounds that the proceedings would be a farce because Moraes — as he so often does — wants to act as the supposed victim, investigator, and judge, and thus his demand falls well outside of Italy's extradition standards. Again, multiple countries have concluded the same, showing what a farce Brazil's once-respected judicial system has become under the Lula/Moraes regime.
Moraes has overseen a system of political persecution masquerading as criminal justice that has been recognized as a sham by multiple countries that are not exactly Bolsonaro allies. Nobody in their right mind who is a political enemy of Moraes would remain in Brazil once if it is clear that he intends to imprison you, since he has proven that guilt is a foregone conclusion and he operates with no legal or constitutional limits of any kind.
That is why asylum under international law exists: to protect those who cannot obtain justice in their own country because the justice system has been corrupted and commandeered for political persecution. Many people, such as Julian Assange, have needed that protection (which Lula cheered). Now people need it from Moraes in Brazil. That is sadly one of the main legacies of both Lula and Moraes over the last six years.

Was I wrong about Brazil? 🇧🇷
Yes. Very wrong.
Do I genuinely believe something was off with this election? Yes.
Lula gained 10.4M votes between rounds. Flávio gained 3.7M. All the eliminated candidates combined had only 9.3M votes. Turnout increased by nearly 3M, and Lula improved his margin against Flávio in almost 97% of municipalities. Very rare and unusual.
Even my most conservative scenarios never came close to a Lula win this comfortable.
I personally find those numbers extraordinary enough to be deeply skeptical of the result.
Either way, it’s done.
On to the next one. 🐾

According to Folha de S.Paulo, Flávio Bolsonaro received ZERO votes at 106 polling stations where Lula received nearly 15,000 votes.
For perspective: if Bolsonaro had just 10% support at a polling station with 140 voters, the probability of him receiving ZERO votes would be 1 in 2.5 million.
