Hence ACME protocol @ACMEonBTC api serves responses with JMT proofs with root hash (which is a hash chain over the balances, assets and markets trees plus event and tx roots) to bitcoin every block containing ACME transactions. Anyone can verify, no "trustmebro" involved. Next logical step is succinct ZK proof which would also prove the state was computed correctly.. in the making already!

The Ordinals claims in the infographic are accurate.
Sat numbers are not stored on-chain; indexers compute them and ord is the reference implementation.
Missed inscriptions received negative (cursed) numbers in 2023; rules changed at block 824544 so new ones became blessed with positive numbers.
Inscriptions use witness data in block files. Pruned nodes delete old blocks and thus lose that data.
ord provides CLI tools for inscribing and exploring. Studios, mint pages, and marketplaces are third-party.
Magic Eden held ~80% of Ordinals trading at peak and left Bitcoin in March 2026. Its listings and bids were off-chain.
