Hey everyone, I know I've been relatively silent for a while (just not much to engage about), but I'll actually be relatively silent over in Mastodon from now on. Feel free to follow me there @unusedpotential@kolektiva.social

Do you remember when you joined Twitter? I do! #MyTwitterAnniversary
Somehow,I manage to be reading the Twitter on this day
Thirteen years on the hell site. Connections I have made here literally changed my life.
For some reason Twitter wanted me to know today was the day I joined. For probably the same reason, I wanted to share it.

Why y’all keep asking where the police at? Y’all ask where Miley’s at when Hannah’s on stage?
I've been studying up on remote teams and there seems to be this dichotomy between "we want all the timezones" and "if we aren't in the same office we can't work". I'm trying to balance these ideas with the principles that create Radical Collaboration workplaces.
With this in mind, I want a localized remote working environment with lots of high-contact touchpoints - perhaps pyoyoing (a new word I invented describing pair yoyoing where you pair to intensely discuss, then separate to implement, repeat at high cadence)
Similar to @nota_bennett's 'poloing' suggestion. It feels like there is a sustainable and high value thing around here - how can we leverage sustainable focus time and high value/high intensity collaboration together? I don't think it needs to be one or the other.
This article really highlights the fact that Hyperloop isn't a solution to transportation problems, unless your problem is that you don't want to ride the train with the poors thenextweb.com/shift/2020/11…

I've worked in and with a lot of organizations trying to change the way they build software, and "Accountability" has been a theme in all of them. I'm starting to understand:
"Accountability" is the anxiety of a push leader confronting the transformation to being a pull leader.
