- Rebuilding teams are supposed to lose a lot. Nothing matters this early.
- EP40 is upping his trade value, and should be traded soon. He caused the rebuild after all
- Quitt Hughes should be boo’d

This is exactly what we want. The rebuild will be ugly, but the fruits of it should provide us with a bounty of up and coming players. There is still pain to be had as the old team is still being unwound.

I was definitely being reactionary with this post.
At 2-7-1, the #Canucks are well on their way to another top 5 pick.
The #Canucks game tonight taught us that we may need to trade some of these vets sooner than expected.

It's obviously early, but Zeev Buium has been the biggest disappointment so far this season, by a long shot. He's shown no improvement over last season at all. If anything, he looks worse. It's horrible optics sending your $9M guy down to Abby, but he looks over his head at the NHL level.
I do like what I see from Willander though. His skating stands out, particularly in the D zone, and he looks much more calm/confident with the puck on his stick.

The eye test says he was one of the worst #Canucks signings of all time. Largely invisible for most of the season, while relying on PP time or a shooting % bender.
His stats - Ok? But he is a career -46 as a Canuck. Pathetic.
