Johnson was one of the better 2027 pg’s on Saturday. A longer floor general who could really get a piece of the paint….. the @CamdenHighHoops standout will be a name to track this year as they look to win the region in 7A-1

Game 2
@TheWelchyReport South Georgia Top 50
Team 3 - 59
Team 4 - 53
Loved what we saw out of 2027 Zi'on Thomas in his first game of the day. High-level motor, attacks rim with authority & shoots ball well. Multiple college coaches spoke with him afterwards.
2027 Dee Grier got hot in the later parts of the game to help his team comeback & get the win.
For Team 4, the duo of 2027 Lloyd Johnson & Marcus Heath brought a ton of energy for a game they led the majority of. Johnson showed off his high-level shooting from the outside while Heath was a bulldog on defense while being a great facilitator on the offensive end.

17u- Devin Butts Elite- Welch (HSA) wins the Gold Championship with Lloyd Johnson (0) and AJ Sampson (10) leading the way.
Lloyd Johnson was a knockdown shooter who consistently created scoring opportunities with his off-ball movement. He found open space, knocked down perimeter shots, and finished with 14 points while connecting on four three-pointers.
AJ Sampson was an athletic rim protector who made his presence felt on both ends of the floor. He controlled the paint with his shot-blocking ability, finished everything around the rim, and recorded a 13-point double-double to go along with four blocks.

17U - An impressive all around performance today from Lloyd Johnson from Devin Butts Elite who made a major impact on both ends of the floor. They brought home a win over Hoops Untied 67-47. He set the tone defensively, locking up his matchup, forcing tough shots, and creating turnovers that led to easy transition opportunities. On the offensive side, he stayed confident and efficient, he knocked down shots well from range. He finished with 17p and 4a @UpNextLloyd #BestoftheSouth
