This is the right take. George had 3 TDs taken from him. You can blame refs, his fellow players or some combo. You can't blame GMac. So if the team holds up its end as well as he did we're not talking about any (admittedly botched) 4Q play.

Love him or hate him I think this is who Heupel is. I think schematically he’s an excellent coach. He will win some games that other coaches before him couldn’t dream of. And will drop at least 1 game a year to a bad team. Thats who he is.

Pretty much sums up @coachjoshheupel again, people need to realize he isn’t the one. Yes he is a decent coach but he isn’t going to do more than what he is doing now. He isn’t worth 9 million a year.

Heupel’s best disciplined season in Knoxville still had us only ranked 70th in penalties lol. Every other year is in the hundreds. Undisciplined. Will never win the big one.
