It was a special pleasure to host my friend and colleague, Swedish Ambassador to the United States, @UrbanAhlin, for dinner as he concludes his time in Washington. Urban has been a wonderful partner and a tireless champion of the friendship between our two countries. I’m grateful for his warmth, friendship, and many contributions to the U.S.-Sweden relationship. Wishing Urban all the very best in the next chapter — he will be greatly missed! 🇺🇸🇸🇪

Thank you Lloyd for the call and the opportunity to discuss the Swedish Nato membership application, supporting Ukraine and our progress on the Defence Cooperation Agreement (DCA). 🇸🇪🇺🇸
I had a productive call today with Minister of Defence Jonson from the Kingdom of Sweden 🇸🇪. It was great to catch up with Pål and share insights and updates since our meeting in December at the Pentagon, and I look forward to seeing him again soon.
