Since July, I've been working on a set of fundamental CS questions rooted in combinator calculi. I've built out the SKIverse, a set of tools for computing on the SKI combinators, writing them using high-level languages, and ultimately zero-knowledge-proving with them. 🧵
Some news from the SKIverse: • The Avon runtime (in C) for evaluating pure SKI combinator programs is available now at github.com/sigilante/avon • Associated Lean SKI evaluation proofs are at github.com/sigilante/lean-sk… • A SKIjack interpreter is now on PyPI: pip install skijack

The Internet is dead and PHP + Node.JS killed it. Looking for an exit? @GroundwireBTC : Decentralized Sybil Resistance for a Dead Internet
USTJ article release day. This week, we have the public explanation of @GroundwireBTC′s ongoing project to weld Bitcoin and sybil resistance together using Urbit computing. Read it online or buy your own hard copy for additional art and panache: urbitsystems.tech/article/v0…

The scope Urbit ID is often conflated with the scope of the Azimuth and Ecliptic contracts on Ethereum. But this could not be further from the truth. Azimuth is just one slice of the Urbit ID public key infrastructure (PKI). Check out this article from the guys at @GroundwireBTC in the @UrbitSTJ to learn more about how they are using Urbit comets and Bitcoin to carve out another slice of the Urbit address space for secure and sybil-resistant networking in the AI era.

“I heard you like deterministic computing, so I put deterministic floating point math in your deterministic purely functional solid state interpreter” - @sigilante (probably)

“You can just do things” is a poem about @GlueWear. Read the October Contributor Spotlight to learn why, when asked, “What would you be doing if you weren’t working on Urbit?” ~disden-talhes responded: “But I am working on Urbit.” urbit.org/blog/contributor-s…

I was today years old when I found out that HP had a monthly journal from 1949 to 1998. The design was so beautiful.
