As National Pharmacy Week ends... Did you know… Each day: • 350 Veterans meet with our pharmacy team for medication guidance • 3,500 new prescriptions are prepared for Veterans • 1,500 prescriptions are filled for those picking up medications • 2,600 doses of medicine are delivered to hospital units for patient care Last year: • Our pharmacists reviewed 304,000 medication orders to help keep Veterans safe • Pharmacy staff were available in all Puget Sound primary care clinics and supported 13 specialty clinics o More than 8,000 Veterans received care in our pharmacy clinics o Pharmacy clinic visits totaled 38,000 o Pharmacists prescribed nearly 6% of all medications for Veterans Thank you to our pharmacy team for their dedication to Veteran health!
