Amazing dinner with the kindest, smartest, most dedicated group of teachers I know!!!

Goodbye as I wrap up over 30 yrs in education! My decade at VBCPS has been amazing w/ 24-hour tutoring w/ FEV, & equitable access to rigorous classes, for underserved students w/EOS. Shout out to the dedicated secondary reading teachers who are true heroes for our students.

Physical and emotional health is a major component of the Title IV, Part A, grant. Just arrived! Smaller sized dolls in varied skin shades will be used in elementary schools to ensure life saving techniques are learned early and by more students @leidunn_vb @vbschools @TQuinnVB

Landstown High School hosted an amazing virtual AP night for students and parents. EOS survey data, benefits of taking AP, and costs associated with the courses were discussed. @drwwashington @MsPeeJay @vbschools

Day 2 of @LearningForward began with an amazing student performance to ground us in the why of this work. @chrisemdin reminded us that "teaching without love is just talking".

An amazing 11 school visit w/our HS to review survey data & plan outreach strategies. Opportunity teams are dedicated to improving opportunities & belonging for ALL students. These leaders, teams & trusted adults will touch the hearts & minds of students who need it most! ⁦

Had an amazing visit with one of our private school partners, @StrelitzAcademy. Loved learning about their IB program, flexible seating, art, and critical thinking projects. My favorite is always the calming cove with sensory activities and soothing lights. @angieseiders
