2027 Levi Oakes put on an absolute clinic this morning at the Puma Seal Beach Session. The dynamic guard dropped 30 points while completely controlling the pace and tempo of the game. Levi showed his ability to score at all three levels, and creating opportunities for others.

HOOPS: Wolfgang Wood is the new head coach at Cathedral Catholic in San Diego. Wood was 115-66 at St. Bonaventure and led the program to three CIF finals and a CIF State regional final in six years at the helm. Great hire.

Wolfgang Wood has stepped down at St. Bonnie’s. Was a great coach, will be interesting to see how the program does without him.

HOOPS: Calabasas coach Jon Palarz tells me he’s resigning today after 17 years at the helm. He will continue to teach at the school. “All things considered, it is time,” he said. Palarz’ teams were always competitive and prepared.
