We are currently short on book fair volunteers, pls consider taking a shift to ring up sales and help kids shop. If you've never done it - it's very easy - and there will be assistance on hand. Sign up online at somervillenjpto.com. The Book Fair starts next week! THANK YOU!

It’s a short week, but don’t forget book club tomorrow! 📚 We’ll continue reading the biography of @wimpykid and work on our graphic novels. ✏️

🚨Important Update 🚨The last day of the VDV Book Club will be on May 22nd (the book fair is coming back to the MC from May 28th til June 4th. More details on that soon!) Lots of time left, so I’ll remind Ss as we get closer.

Time’s up on the Jenga Challenge! These homerooms had at least one Library day with no overdue books and have unlocked Jenga in June for their class! 🌠 Way to go! @bglinka629 @SDelese @VDV5thGrade @sbonaduce1 @MissTeeling

Super impressed with the poems coming out of the Magazine Collage Poetry creation station this week! Ss are cutting words from magazines (or pulling from the pre-cut pile) and “building poems” by gluing them onto card stock. Ask your child how poems can be 😂 😢 😜 & even 😱.

Looking for inspiration for the Helen Doherty Science Fair? Don't worry, I've got you covered! 📚 🧪 📔 #allin4theVille #vdvpartners4progress somervillenjk12.org/site/def…
