1/3 There's something I want to address about the repeated circulation of vague, unverified information within the Pro-Valko community, particularly when it comes from accounts with considerable reach. I've seen people defend this practice as harmless excitement while insisting that readers alone must manage their expectations. And after everything that's happened, I think that deserves a proper discussion. My issue was never that I personally didn't know what a particular rumor was about. My issue was how information was repeatedly being presented publicly. And let's be clear: this wasn't ONE post where excitement simply got the better of someone. There were SEVERAL posts hinting at potentially significant information, expressing fear, excitement, and uncertainty, telling people to wait, and suggesting that something important was being investigated—all without providing enough context for readers to understand what was actually being discussed. I provided screenshots in my earlier posts. The pattern is there. Some people have questioned why I criticized this publicly instead of privately approaching the person involved. But that addresses an entirely different issue. I wasn't asking for privileged access to anyone's information. I was asking why information was repeatedly teased publicly without providing the context necessary for people to evaluate it. You could have made ONE straightforward post: "We've come across a rumor suggesting [information]. We're still investigating, so nothing is confirmed. Please take it with a grain of salt, but I'm excited about the possibility. What do you guys think?" There. Information shared. Uncertainty acknowledged. Excitement preserved. A healthy discussion invited. And if you couldn't responsibly share the actual information yet, you could simply have waited or explained that there was nothing verifiable to discuss. You're not advertising a movie. You don't need a teaser campaign, multiple cliffhangers, or suspenseful promotional posts before people are allowed to understand what you're talking about. And here's what I find particularly frustrating about the defenses I've seen. People keep telling us to "be adults," "be rocks," "be mountains," and manage our own expectations and emotional reactions. Fine. I agree that readers have a responsibility to think critically, verify information, and regulate their expectations. But why does responsibility suddenly become a one-way street? If readers must manage their expectations, why shouldn't posters manage how they communicate their excitement? If we're expected to exercise emotional restraint, why is it unreasonable to expect people sharing unverified information to exercise communicative restraint? These responsibilities are not mutually exclusive. You don't get to insist that your audience should be mature enough to handle disappointment while treating a request for clearer communication as an unreasonable personal attack. And no, saying "I was just excited" doesn't automatically resolve the criticism.

1 week left, and it's my final surgery. After that, a round of tests to confirm, and then, hopefully, I get the best news ever. .. well, the best news would be Valko's back, so I guess I mean the second best news ever. Please, give me strength to overcome my final hurdle and finally be free from the strain, the suffering— physically, mentally, emotionally, that I've endured for the past few years. Please give me my life back.
