Met with Dan Tehan at Education Council today. We made our point - again. We are simply not signing a multi-year funding agreement while there is inequality in the deal.
We’ll keep talking, but as long as public school kids receive less than private school kids...no deal.

Cool day hanging out on Mars (ok the Mars simulation at @VSSEC) w @BenCarrollMP! Seeing all these students learning science and using the latest technologies to explore the Red Planet gives me hope, as they use that knowledge to change our Blue Planet for the better first.

Students at @VSSEC are inspired for a future career in science by exploring space but seeing its applications on Earth. They learn by doing - biology to grow food on the red planet, physics & geology to search for alien life and maths & algebra to help escape Mars #scienceweek – at Melbourne, Victoria
My thanks to @BenCarrollMP for braving Mars with me to launch @VSSEC’s new STEM learning experience for #ScienceWeek Clearly only one of us read the briefing on suitable clothing to survive subzero temperatures on the Red Planet.

How many ministers would go to Mars to advocate for the space agency? I did this morning with @astroduff along with students from Strathmore Secondary at the @VSSEC. Victoria is a leader in STEM education & our universities are at the forefront of space research & development.
