Toronto needs its own version of @fdotinc. We’re starting to build it, but we can’t do it alone. Right now, we’ve got pieces of the puzzle in place: - Coworking at @VSpaceTO - Poker room @vclubpoker (also used for movie nights, holiday parties, game nights) - Sauna + cold plunge (under renovation, opening this summer) - Lounge space with ping pong, foosball, and chill zones (coming post-reno) - Basketball runs 1-2x/week with the community - Gym across the street (partnership in progress) - Coffee shop next door + tons of great food options - Co-living / hacker houses across the street and around town - Exploring bringing in a regular chef for meals VSpace has huge potential to be a force multiplier for the Toronto tech community, but honestly it’s been quiet the past few months while I’ve been out of town, and momentum’s slipped. If you’re a builder, community organizer, or just someone who cares about this city, I’d love your help.
