Hi @EastMidRailway Can you explain why I’ve just been charged £8.70 to change my single ticket (Derby to Chesterfield) to an hour earlier, when if I’d just bought a new single ticket it would have been £7?
Another overcrowded @CrossCountryUK train, where despite having a seat reservation, I am yet again standing. This time, I could actually make it to my reserved seat, but it was occupied by an elderly gentleman who couldn’t get to his reserved seat because of overcrowding. (1/?)
The staff @CrossCountryUK are happy to point out conditions of travel saying possession of a ticket does not guarantee a seat, but you’ve taken it to the next level where even if you have a seat reservation there’s no guarantee of a seat. You prioritise profits over customers 3/?
And I’ve not even mentioned delays @CrossCountryUK . Trains often 10-15 min late. Late enough to miss connections, but not late enough to receive even a partial refund. I lose an average of 30 min a wk, stood in a vestibule b/c you have no clue how to run a decent service.

Falcon content @Ben_Aaronovitch - has Peter Grant been practicing again?
Today was not a security or cyber incident. Our customers remain fully protected.
We understand the gravity of the situation and are deeply sorry for the inconvenience and disruption. We are working with all impacted customers to ensure that systems are back up and they can deliver the services their customers are counting on.
As noted earlier, the issue has been identified and a fix has been deployed. There was an issue with a Falcon content update for Windows Hosts.

In typical @CrossCountryUK fashion, not only was my train home delayed, but now the delay repay website is down.
Another day, another short formed train from @CrossCountryUK I do have a seat reservation, but it’s too crowded to actually get to it. It’s at least once a week that this happens, and it’s simply not good enough.
