Shiny Porygon in White Forest after 3,631 encounters! Finally, a hunt that came in under odds it feels great, especially after going 8,000 encounters in Gen 7 without a shiny. I was hunting this one exclusively, following a huge number of encounters at the HGSS Game Corner.

Shiny Golurk after 26,360 encounters. That’s the second time in a row I’ve hit triple the odds without a shiny—it’s rough. I was originally hunting for Banette, which has a 70% encounter rate. I’m really happy with this Golem, and i will hunt banette in safari zone

Shiny Buizel in HeartGold/SoulSilver after 2,531 encounters using the radio. This is a rarely attempted hunt; I don't think I've even seen it done once before. One more added to my long-running quest to get every Shiny via the radio.

Shiny Negapi with the Hoenn radio in only... SIX or SEVEN encounters 🤡 Really happy to wrap up this hunt quickly; I think I’d already done a few thousand encounters for it, but I can't find the exact numbers anymore.

Shiny wild Starmie after 7,998 Rippling Water encounters! Pass Power quest #4! ✨ This is one of the coolest shinies I've ever found. It looks so, so good especially the blue gem. Shined on the 3rd phase.

Shiny Relicanth after 3,485 random encounters! ✨5th member of my Water monotype challenge in Sapphire. One of the best shinies in the entire series. I was doing the 50/50 repel trick with Clamperl and got him on the first phase, incredible. Onto Clamperl to finish this quest!
