We got (most likely) the first IHSA football playoff first round game time and date ⬇️🏈 Ottawa Marquette at Clifton Central October 31, 1:00pm First matchup since 1984 Class 3A quarterfinals. 1984 Clifton Central QB Rob Zimbelman will serve as an honorary captain.

Big news in IHSA boys basketball: following a career-related availability issue, St. Anne moved on from Hall-of-Fame head coach Rick Schoon. In his place will be Brooks Schoon, Rick’s son, to take over a Cardinals program rich in tradition. 🏀
