ATF Releases NFA guidance in response to the Texas NFA lawsuit:
"Effective October 9, 2026, ATF will no longer require individuals to seek ATF approval under the NFA before making or transferring short-barreled rifles, short-barreled shotguns, silencers, and “any other weapon[s]” as defined in 26 U.S.C. § 5845(e). ATF will also no longer require such items to be registered in the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Record. These policies apply uniformly to anyone otherwise subject to these requirements, not just to the plaintiffs in the litigation."

The reason this scene works so well, even today, is because of how well they introduce Jimmy as a character. He's rightfully incredibly pissed off, they need his help badly and he knows it. Jules tries to start smooth talking him through this whole thing and Jimmy recognizes it. He busts out the gamer word to shut him down immediately and bring him down to Earth, to let him know that he's not gonna smooth talk his way through this, that he's horrendously angry. He says what the problem is the most blunt, biting way, so he doesn't have to reiterate or make clear what the issue at hand is.
And he makes sure that Jules never even THINKS about doing this again. Because it ain't Jimmy's business.
