My app @Ecclesia_Bible is now live!
Built in Ai powered symbolism and exegesis, total translation from source language, verse correlations, in-line translational variations, and more.
This is the first app from my newest startup, Tanzanite
Revelation 13:
15 The second beast was given power to give a spirit to the statue of the first beast, so that the statue could speak and cause all who refused to worship the statue to be killed.
16 It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads,
17 so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.
This may be obvious to many, but I literally never thought of it till just now
If you work on a Mac, you don’t need thumb drives to backup or store or transfer small files anymore (self custody)
You can just zip (encrypted if desired) and airdrop the zip to your phone…
Your iPhone acts as a wireless flash drive…
When you need to xfer them back just go to documents app and airdrop it back over
Again, I know this is stupidly obvious in hindsight… but I literally just bought an external flash drive off Amazon the other day …and I only just now realized I can literally just use my iPhone

Calling a model open weights is like releasing a closed binary and calling it open binary

Announcing 3 Critical vulns for hundreds of millions of IoT, Firewalls, OT, and Military devices including: Palo Alto Networks, Comcast, D-Link, HP, Canon, Honeywell, GE, Oracle, Siemens, Rockwell, Digi, Lockheed Martin, Boeing...
The vulns are with GoAhead Web Server which is a backend library used by these devices. There's a patch available from GoAhead but that doesn't mean there's a patch available for the devices yet -- that's up to the manufacturer.
- TLS traffic over DHE ciphers have a 1-byte secret, "04", meaning anyone can decrypt connections to these devices and steal login credentials and session tokens if the client negotiated with DHE ciphers like the latest TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_CHACHA20_POLY1305_SHA256, which is extremely likely.
- LibreSSL mTLS has been completely bypassed, meaning anyone can connect over mTLS. If you have one of these devices listening on the internet and are expecting mTLS to protect it from attackers, take it offline or patch asap.
- OpenSSL Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs) are not enforced, meaning if a user device is stolen or compromised, and you revoke that mTLS cert, nothing actually happens. There are a lot of other attacks this can be used for.
These are critical because these types of devices run our world. Water systems, electricity, military, firewalls, critical infrastructure.

I came up with a serious conceptual mathematical optimization today that is a huge break through in a specific computational problem correlated to ML but also many computational math problems generally
While I had Astra Medium demonstrating it computationally, suddenly the chat got stuck in a indefinite work state for 15 minutes while this message showed...
This was in a Organization/Business plan, 'work' based session, which are supposed to be private data, not trained upon.
Seems OpenAI monitors them for breakthroughs all the same, and harvests real new innovations.
Not sure why I trusted their policy in this... was thinking about just using my own offline models; but their ToS said for corporate accounts this kind of data harvesting was not a thing... but clearly it is.
It seems if you do important math work with OpenAi their systems will flag breakthroughs, pause the work while they inspect it, erase the last message, nerf the model so it can’t do any further work reliably, it will even ask to pause continuing work, it will bring up the concept of “system blocks” on its own unprompted, entire portions of chat will get wiped, and lastly your whole account gets degraded.
Unreal
This all happened to me Oct 14-16 when finally I had to stop on the 16th because Astra became unusable
A week later OpenAI announced a breakthrough their system had discovered on the 16th which uses the same exact complex combination of math techniques I was using when I got interrupted, deleted, paused, “not blocked”, and lastly fully nerfed

I really hate how ChatGPT glazes you
Makes it so hard to be objective
DeepSeek is much nicer to work with even though it’s inferior benchmarks
I wish AI providers would stop trying to amplify anthropomorphism of their machines
Also jeez this is obnoxious… @elonmusk whose decision was this? They need to be no where near UX/GUI decision making process 🥶
