Earlier today, our New Jersey chapter (@CAIRNJ) condemned the ICE raid on Jersey Kebab, a beloved family-owned restaurant in South Jersey, and demanded the immediate release of Emine Emanet, a devoted mother and primary caregiver to her 15-year-old autistic child.
Emine and her husband, Celal Emanet, have no criminal record and have been waiting for years for their green card status to be resolved. Yet, ICE tore them from their home and community, leaving their family in crisis.
