For centuries, gold has been the ultimate symbol of scarcity.
Now, science is exploring ways to create more of it.
Bitcoin, though? Its supply is governed by a protocol with a 21 million BTC cap.
As technology evolves, what does true scarcity mean? What are your thoughts?
An interesting perspective from @coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong. 👇

You want your dentist to be an expert in dentistry and not an expert in running a Lightning node.
One thing I talked about at my TABConf Wavelength workshop that I keep thinking about: Bitcoin builders, please build for your dentist.
It’s our job to make Lightning payments easy for people who are not experts in Lightning. It’s our job to build in such a way that your dentist can make Lightning payments with absolutely no idea what channels are or what inbound liquidity is.
Not everyone can be, or should be, an expert in Lightning. That’s our job!
Thankfully we now have some pretty amazing tools for Lightning payments that don’t require having read an Andreas Antonopoulos book. If your dentist can scan a QR code then they can use an application powered by Wavelength.

Pain can influence our perspectives, but should it define what we believe?
Paul Rosenberg explores why beliefs rooted in past injuries deserve a second look.

BTCPay Server 2.4.6 is out! 🚨
Another security-focused release, bringing further hardening especially around our dependencies.
To update, go to Server Settings → Maintenance → Update, or run btcpay-update(.)sh from the command line after removing the parentheses.

Wavelength is now live on mainnet! 🌊
Humans and agents can now send and receive bitcoin payments with the Wavelength SDK.
A few API calls, self-custodial from the first command, with no node or liquidity to manage.

I have managed highly successful multi million dollar enterprise #bitcoin #lightningnetwork nodes for more than half a decade and I have learned a lot. Now I am putting together an interactive learning environment for aspiring professional lightning node managers.
There will be a simulated environment on a regular domain as well as an open source download for local automatic regtest node deployment in addition to the GUI and terminal simulation.
We need more professional node managers and the best way to get them is to have a zero risk learning environment to build confidence.
Still a lot to build but I will be dropping teasers here and there until I make it all public. Lightning is just too fun. Can't stop won't stop.

Please post on X:
17 DAYS.
This isn't another Bitcoin conference.
We're talking about defending yourself and your stack. 5th generation warfare. Privacy. Building sovereign families. Real-world security.
Led by veterans who understand that freedom requires preparation, discipline, and action.
And we're backing it up with one hell of a competitive Range Event led by military special operations personnel.
Less talk. More capability.

After more than 3 years of tireless work, today we're finally announcing version 2 of our new Mostro app!
The project has evolved a lot since we started. Today, we have 11 Mostro nodes running around the world, data is sent to Nostr relays, and Mostro is far more censorship-resistant than any other P2P platform out there. But no words can truly describe the feeling of being free to trade without being watched.
Try the new version for yourselves, we'd love to hear your feedback.
Thank you Mostros out there 🧌!
🧌 Mostro evolved, and you can now download the new version of the app on Zapstore! ⚡
In this video we show you everything we've been working on for our Mostros.

I just took an hour to go update all the things. Anything running with any real value on it stays at the latest and greatest version.
Please update all your things, regularly.
I ordered a chicken and an egg from an online store.
I'll let you know which comes first. 🐔🥚📦

Brazil leads the world in Bitcoin and crypto adoption 🇧🇷
Another fun fact from the Chainalysis report: USA and Nigeria are mirror opposites in crypto adoption.
USA #1 in balances but #20 in peer-to-peer.
Nigeria is nearly the reverse.

#AI isn't just about generating images, writing emails, or automating workflows.
Sometimes, it's about genuinely improving people's lives.
A new study published in Nature Medicine explores how AI can help people with #epilepsy better understand their neurological activity, receive real-time alerts, and even improve seizure detection through their own feedback.
This is the kind of innovation that we love seeing.
Not replacing humans. Empowering them.
Technology is a tool. What we build with it matters. ⚡
