Ennum Ezhuthum: Helped 25 lakh children across 37,767 schools improve reading, writing and maths. How dare he fight illiteracy! 3. Smart Classrooms: Completed 22,931 smart classrooms, benefiting 11.76 lakh children. Tamil Nadu reached 60.8% smart-classroom coverage against UP’s 19.8% and Bihar’s 14.9%. Unforgivable! 4. India’s First Statewide Breakfast Scheme: The DMK government brought free breakfast to all 31,008 government primary schools, benefiting 17 lakh children in 2023. What a crime, sending poor children to classrooms without hunger! 5. School Infrastructure: Spent ₹2,917 crore improving 4,426 government schools. Apparently, village children don’t deserve decent classrooms! 6. Hi-Tech Laboratories: Established 8,209 hi-tech labs at an estimated ₹519 crore, bringing modern learning facilities to government-school children. What arrogance! 7. TN SPARK: Introduced AI, robotics and computer science education, initially targeting 7 lakh government-school students. Imagine village children learning artificial intelligence! 8. Reading Revolution: Reading initiatives reached nearly 44.5 lakh government-school students, with books designed for different learning levels. How dare he encourage poor children to read! 9. Government-School Teachers: Appointed 3,043 graduate teachers and 97 block education officers to strengthen public education. Another terrible achievement! 10. Tamil Nadu’s Education Rights: Defended the state’s two-language policy and challenged the Union Government over withheld Samagra Shiksha funds. How dare he stand up for Tamil Nadu’s children! But an arrest is not a conviction, and allegations cannot erase achievements. Yet we are told he deserves to be arrested!

What a clown! Arresting them will increase his credibility? So, to prove you’re genuine, you’ll use the law as a political tool? Since when did justice become a publicity stunt?

Is this the new normal in Tamil Nadu? Growing up, I remember watching news about bomb blasts in Kashmir. After a point, it felt like these things kept happening and nothing could be done. Are we slowly reaching that stage? Other than blaming DMK, do Vijay and his party leaders have any solution?

I used to wonder why certain journalists face difficulties whenever governments change. Now I understand. Journalists who report facts are not the problem. The real problem is the vultures hiding behind the name of journalism, spreading biased news and political propaganda. They are not facing hardship for doing journalism. They are facing the consequences of turning journalism into political business.

How low can he go every single day? No improvement in the electricity sector. Even his own party member has alleged that government lawyer appointments were made in exchange for money. Now, if filing a case in court is enough to declare someone guilty, what about the multiple cases pending in connection with the Karur tragedy? Should we also conclude that Vijay is responsible and demand that he quit politics? Or does this logic apply only to his political opponents?

I was shocked. This fellow had zero interest in politics in school. Also, No political family background either that suddenly changed his route now. Asked him, Why not join an established party? Too many people waiting already. Where will we get a chance? He never even tried. But that feeling was enough to send him elsewhere. How many youngsters feel the same? People aged 21–35 form roughly 29% of Tamil Nadu’s electorate, an estimated 1.66 crore voters. A generation that travels, sees more and discusses everything on social media. Will the same old ways of reaching them work? Annamalai’s route is different from the cinema crowd’s, but the field is getting crowded. Voters have more choices. Cadres have more doors to knock on. Established parties have strong roots. But who gives the next generation space to grow? Feels like an “innovate or die” situation is coming for everyone. When a student cries over college fees and your entire group turns against him. Is that self-respect? DMK, AIADMK, back to DMK, then DMDK, and back to DMK again. Is that self-respect? From infrastructure to transport to airports, major projects are getting cancelled or put on hold. Meanwhile, salary hikes for TASMAC employees, new cars for MLAs, bigger police budgets and reports of electricity being bought at ₹35 per unit. Excellent! Money going out everywhere. But where is the money coming from? 🙄

₹1,200 crore of taxpayers’ money for a sea-view Secretariat, and what an amazing response from the government! No information on why this location was chosen, what studies were done, or whether any alternatives were considered. So what are we supposed to believe? Vijay liked the sea view, so the government decided to build it there? Are we building a government Secretariat or a cinema set?

I seriously don’t know where people get this crap from. What is he even trying to say? Vijay is running the government, but DMK somehow holds all the power in Tamil Nadu? How does that even make sense? 🙄🙄

If this was a movie, Vijay would be the hero who arrests Boobalan, exposes his political links and saves Tamil Nadu from a big drug racket. Unfortunately, this is real life. Vijay seems to have neither the administrative skills nor the ability to identify what is happening within his own party. I hope one day people come out of this illusion and realise that reel-life heroes are not necessarily the heroes they are made out to be.
