Be on the lookout for intentional election disinformation. Claims like these are NOT TRUE.
✅ Ohio law requires that EVERY piece of voting equipment is tested before the election to ensure it is working properly.
✅ EVERY vote cast in Ohio is recorded on a hand-marked or voter-verified paper ballot.
✅ Results are subjected to a bipartisan post-election audit.
If any Ohioan is concerned about voting, please reach out to your board of elections or email us at [email protected].

🚨NEW PSA JUST LAUNCHED 🚨
It’s football season, and @LtGovJimTressel knows a thing or two about having a winning game plan. 🏈
Fortunately, we make it easy in Ohio and his message to voters is simple: Visit VoteOhio.gov, make your plan to vote, and GET IN THE GAME!
Ohio law does NOT prohibit voters from bringing phones or other electronic devices into the voting booth. In fact, many voters use their phones to reference slate cards or quickly look up candidates and issues while voting.
The law prohibits displaying a completed ballot. This is meant to protect ballot secrecy and prevent intimidation or bribery.
Leading up to Election Day, Ohioans are encouraged to report potential election law violations to the Ohio Secretary of State's Election Integrity Unit. Early voting locations and polling places will have this poster hanging up to remind voters to "SEE IT, SEND IT."

Yikes! Incorrect info seen on a local TV station! 👀
An important distinction: Absentee ballot REQUEST forms must be received by October 27 (although you should not wait that long!)
Absentee BALLOTS must be received by your county board of elections by 7:30 pm on Election Day!
Before every election, all 88 Ohio county boards of elections conduct public logic and accuracy (L&A) testing on all voting equipment.
L&A testing puts every ballot style and voting system component through a systematic pre-election test to make sure:
✅ Ballots are read correctly
✅ Votes are tabulated accurately
✅ Equipment is properly secured and sealed for use

Happy National Voter Registration Day!!
Ask your friends and neighbors, "Are you registered to vote?"
VoteOhio.gov is the one-stop shop for all your voting needs!
A few important reminders as absentee ballot REQUESTS start hitting mailboxes.
1: This mailer is an APPLICATION, not a ballot.
2: Voter identification and signature are checked TWICE during the process, first when the absentee ballot is requested and again when the voted ballot is returned.
3: Only valid registered voters who request a ballot can receive a ballot, and only after their information is verified by bipartisan teams at the local board of elections.

This is demonstrably false information based on a misunderstanding of how Ohio verifies Social Security data.
In reality, Ohio has already confirmed more than 99 percent of its Social Security data, as it relates to our voter rolls. We’re working with the Social Security Administration to verify the remaining fraction of the list, less than one percent of our total voter roll.
The 91 percent “failure rating” is completely false, and it has been advanced for months by people who have ulterior political motives that were overwhelmingly rejected in the primary election.
The non-match ranking in their spreadsheet is flawed because it doesn’t accurately reflect Ohio’s voter verification methodology. Some states run all of their SSN records through the Social Security Administration’s database. In Ohio, we only use SSA to verify numbers that haven’t already been verified through the Bureau of Motor Vehicles when a person applies for a driver’s license. If the record matches the BMV record, the SSA database is not checked because it was already confirmed.
Ohio DOES use the SSA database to verify social security data that doesn’t match or exist in the BMV’s records. Naturally, this process can artificially inflate Ohio’s verification rate because, unlike other states, we do not use SSA to verify records that are already verified.
We also verify our voter records multiple times, particularly every time there is a data update. Other states only check once upon registration. That, too, can artificially inflate Ohio’s non-match percentage.
Ohio’s voter rolls are more accurate than at any point in state history, and no prior Secretary of State has done more to reform, modernize and publicly disclose Ohio’s voter list maintenance success than the LaRose administration.
Verified FALSE!
🚨 Ohio Election Fraud?
Ohio is #1 in the nation for mismatched Social Security #’s in voter records 81.456! 91% mismatch rate.
Swing District 1 Congressional race Cincinnati has 20,000 Mismatched ID, SSNs, DL’s sourced from 3rd party NGOs, eligible under law and Sec of State rules to vote a regular mail or absentee ballot with NO PHOTO ID required.
Once again Ohio’s Republican legislature leadership along with County Board of Election special interest lobby fought and defeated laws that would have required those 81K ineligible voter records to vote provisional AND tamp down on unverifiable 3rd party NGOs voter registration activities.
How many of these invalid voter records in Hamilton County will cast and have their ballots counted? Will the final outcome be within 20K votes?
Who is going to take responsibility and be held accountable if ineligible votes in District 1 (Cincinnati) or District 9 (Toledo) decide party control of Congress?
📱 Got Ohio Mobile ID? Great, but don’t leave your physical ID at home on Election Day!
Ohio Mobile ID is not a valid form of ID for voting. If you’re voting in person, make sure you have an accepted physical photo ID with you.
Save this post and check your ID before Election Day!
To reduce confusion from repeating ballot issue numbers between elections, the Ohio General Assembly passed a law to make statewide ballot issue numbers sequential. The numbering will continue until Issue 500, before restarting at Issue 1 again.
