Unfortunately, due to a bereavement the organisers of our dog show are unable to attend tomorrow's Darton Village Fete. Still plenty of other attractions.

Our greatest volunteer turnout ever today. Thanks to VFD members, @BarnsleyNthTeam, Royal Mencap, @DartonPrimary and @TWIGGS1985. Footpath cleared from Churchfield Lane to Hedge Lane and litter picked. Areas around Parish Rooms and the Co-op cut back and weeded.

Come and join us for the #GreatBritishSpringClean on Saturday, 3rd March. Meet in the Co-op car park at 10 am. Superheroes and volunteers very welcome. Equipment provided but bring gloves and wear stout shoes.

Another great piece of work with Twiggs cutting back the hedgerow at Darton Park which not only looks good but makes future litter picking easier. Good partnership developing between VfD and Twiggs.
