Haven't had much time to catch up with my friends lately, so today we're spending a little time working together.
Well the thing is.. she's currently making work schedules for her team, and I've never felt so motivated to make this indie thing work 😂
Some people fear hitting their Claude limits, others fear spiders. I fear schedules.
We got pretty good and pretty fast at making things.
But we're still pretty lost when it comes to getting people to notice them.
Found this in my closet and my sick mind immediately went: NO EYES, NO PRODUCT 😳
(i don't have thoughts anymore, i have x posts, ok?)
Bought it during the summer sales, left it in the box and toootally forgot about it.
And the same happens with most of what we build.
We can spend hundreds of hours building something, but if nobody sees it, it might as well be sitting in a box in the closet.

Well, now it's time to stop adding features and get it out theree!😳
We have a directory, which means we have a product, which means... we also have to face the most uncomfortable part, distribution.
And part of that means promoting on social media, which mostly feels like putting on an ugly tie to go out and look for customers. (and I'm not into ties guys..)
That's why we're building VibeKing, to give our products as much visibility as we can and minimize the emotional burden that might eventually give us a stroke 🙂↕️

Years ago, I used to work at a cinema, and I ssswear, some customers made me question humanity 😳
People buying tickets for the wrong day, the wrong cinema, or calling us because the app showed an error while a pop-up literally explained what the problem was.
Then one day, I bought tickets for a different cinema myself and somehow managed to confuse the last row with the first one.
What I wanna say is... maybe users aren't that stupid after all 😂
Maybe we're all just trying to get things done with the leassst amount of effort possible, like.. that's not our job.
So yeah, I've got the justification I needed.
We should stop expecting users to work harder and start making our products easier to understand.
Anyway.. can already smell vibeking's glow up. Can't wait to show uuu 🫢 🙌🏼
