Our burns team is taking to the road to deliver care across England. The country’s first-ever Burns Bus, a purpose-built mobile dressing clinic, will reduce the need for travel for patients and make healthcare more accessible, bringing vital burns wound care closer to home.

Olympics day 5 – Most common sources of a burn:
Gold - Hot drink (30 children a day go to hospital with a hot drink burn)
Silver - Hob (642 admissions in 2023)
Bronze - Kettle (446 admissions in 2023)
