My dream was to be an Artist, and that my Art would be in galleries and in people’s homes. That I could make clothing and artwork that inspires people, and maybe help them feel not so alone in the world.
Getting older and the realities of adult responsibilities challenge the inner child in all of us. Who knows what dreams will come true and which ones won’t. I never thought I’d be a Dancer, but I was able to travel the world and meet so many amazing people through it.
Turning 40 changes you, and is a long enough timeline to give you perspective on your 20’s and 30’s. Painful missed opportunities ended up making way for something better, and vice versa.
I think it’s common to wonder how life would have gone had we made different choices, but here we are. The best we can do is be grateful for today, and hope for an even better tomorrow🌹
