What disgusts me about the Tekken community is how incapable people are of supporting each other. They'd rather talk shit behind each other's backs than actually build something together. And the moment someone shows real talent, ambition, or takes the initiative to do something, others almost take it as a personal attack. Anyone trying to accomplish something is expected to keep their head down, stay humble, and beg for approval from a bunch of arrogant, suspicious, self-appointed judges, most of whom have never achieved anything remotely comparable. The most ridiculous part is that so many of these people do absolutely nothing for the community. They create nothing, contribute nothing, and offer no ideas. But the second someone actually tries to make things happen, they all come crawling out of their holes to criticize them, question their intentions, and remind them of their supposed place. It's almost as if seeing someone aim higher than them is unbearable. Instead of trying to raise themselves up, they'd rather drag that person down to their own level of mediocrity. They don't want to see the community move forward. They just want to make sure nobody rises above the level they've already settled for. And somehow, they still have the arrogance to act like they're in a position to judge anyone.
