Echo Ian's sentiments completely. A huge and tragic loss. Remember meeting her first when introducing Belcea Qrt concerts. One's heart always lifted on seeing Laura. RIP.
RIP the most lovely person, Laura Samuel, leader @BBCSSO. I first knew her during her many concerts @BBCRadio3 @wigmore_hall with the Nash Ensemble. Always jolly, keen to chat and gossip and a marvellous musician. The news is a shock. My heart goes out to her family & friends.
