Ever since I joined the LDS Church, I've gotten a lot more member followers, so I thought I'd reintroduce myself!
I'm Victoria, and I am a singer and an entrepreneur.
I'm an opera singer, having sung at many places, such as the Vatican, the House of Commons, and Guildhall. I had a number one hit single on the iTunes Classical charts in both Europe and the U.S., and I sing all over the world! Now that I've been baptized, I have felt a strong desire to sing more church music and to bring people to the church through song, so expect more singing from me!
2. I started my own PR business about 6 years ago, and since then I've gone on to give a TEDx talk, write a Wall St. Journal best selling book, and write for Forbes, Fast Company, Rolling Stone, CoinTelegraph, among others. I'm opening up a second office in London this fall!
3. I am a new member of the LDS Church! I was just baptized this month because I could no longer deny that I felt the Holy Spirit in the church and amongst its members. I'm so grateful to be a part of the restored gospel of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Thank you to everyone who has welcomed me into the church.
Happy to be a new "Mormon!"
A little behind-the-scenes look at my upcoming new song!
I shot the music video in Provo right before I flew out to London with the help of @deseretnoise 🙌🏼
I’m so excited to share it with you guys!!
Release date next month!
Just talked to my mom for the first time since we had the blowout about me telling her I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was crying and said that my dad wasn't doing very well.
He's having trouble with his knees, and he's in a lot of pain. She asked me to pray for him.
When I tell you that the Holy Ghost is always listening and is always working, it is true. When I was at the temple yesterday, they were showing us around, and one of the temple workers said, "This is the prayer roll. You can put down names of anyone you wish to have prayed for."
I'm telling you, I heard the Holy Ghost screaming in my ear, saying, "Pray your father. Pray for your father. Pray for your father!" I heard it so loudly.
Immediately, I wrote his name down and my mom's, for good measure, on the temple roll. That was just yesterday, and today my mom calls me and tells me this about my father. I couldn't believe it.
I feel so close to the Lord right now, like He's guiding my life.
When I told her that I went to the temple yesterday, she didn't make a fuss at all. I think she was just happy that someone was praying for my dad. The Holy Ghost is moving here. I don't know how, but He is. I'm praying for my father, and I'm so grateful that I got to talk to my mom tonight.
I got called in for a lesson today, and the young lady said she wanted to be baptized right on the call! 🤯
I couldn't believe it, and I felt like I was witnessing a miracle 🤍
There I was, home from the temple, happily curled up to watch Gilmore Girls on this cold and rainy night, when I got the call from the elders. I felt like I was the third string sitting on the bench, and they called me in because they're down to the last play and needed a hail mary.
I picked up the phone, and they said, "Sister Kennedy, we need you. There's a young woman we're going to have a lesson with. Can we dial you in?" I said, "Say less 😎"
So I jumped on the call, and the missionaries were just killing it. I felt the Spirit, and the young lady felt the Spirit. There were just good vibes going all around.
They asked me to share my testimony, and I tried to tie it to her story so she could relate. I told her I also grew up Catholic, and I did my due diligence and researched. I could no longer deny that I felt the Holy Spirit in this church. The young lady was feeling it as well. She said, "I've been looking for a church, and I really feel like this is the one. I'd like to be baptized."
I couldn't believe my ears! 🤩 I was so happy. The missionaries were so happy, and they asked me to lead the closing prayer 😬
As you saw from my last post, I usually refuse to say it because I feel uncomfortable praying to Heavenly Father, but I was not about to ruin the energy. The Holy Spirit was really with me tonight, so I led the prayer to Heavenly Father for the first time.
I think it went well, thankfully!
And I'm so excited for the young lady. She seems so wonderful, and the missionaries were just so on. The Holy Spirit was with us all tonight. Please say a prayer that this young lady will get baptized! It was such a great day, so filled with the Spirit 🕊️
Went to the London Temple today! 🤩
What a wonderful experience it was! There were about eight of us who went, and it's quite a journey to get there: a bus ride, a train ride, and then a van ride, just to arrive at the temple. Boy, was it worth it! It's always worth it to get to the House of the Lord 🙏🏼
Driving there, we had beautiful conversations about the restoration and the gospel. There were a few converts, so we got to share stories about what led us to the Church of Jesus Christ. It was so wonderful to hear other converts' experiences, like my own, because we really chose the gospel. Out of all the options out there, all of the temptations, and the devil's snares, we chose to be members here in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. 🥹
The temple is a lot smaller than the Las Vegas and Provo temples, yet it has a certain charm to it. I got to baptize four of my ancestors, and I hope I made them proud.
Even though it was super rainy and the weather was really bad, with howling winds, all of us were so happy and so filled with the Holy Spirit. It was a wonderful day 🤍
"Heavenly Father, are you really there?"
Whenever I've been asked to lead a prayer, I always refuse. I'll be honest… I don't know how to pray to Heavenly Father.
Growing up as a Catholic, we referred to him as “God the Father,” and we didn't really pray to him as much as we were taught to pray to Jesus and Mary. God the Father was more of a figure of judgment: someone you don't want to disappoint, someone who has mercy on you.
But mercy is different than love.
Something one of the missionaries told me during my conversion was so simple, yet it hit me so deeply. She said, "Heavenly Father loves you." It hit me like a ton of bricks because I was never taught that growing up.
The most famous Jesus prayer of all time is, "Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner." You're supposed to say it over and over and over.
To know that I have a Heavenly Father, that He is aware of me, and that He wants to bless me is so unfathomable. I'm still trying hard to wrap my mind around it. I still fear talking to Him and going to Him. I feel so unworthy.
Lord Jesus Christ, help me learn to accept our Father's love! 🤍
Going to the London Temple tomorrow! 🤩
I printed out a few names of my ancestors to baptize. I'm so excited to see the London temple!
So far, I've seen the Las Vegas temple and the Provo temple. Got to catch them all ✨😎
Had a great lesson with the missionaries today!
We went over the Restoration and they asked me what I thought of Joseph Smith.
I said, “Praise to the Man!” 😆
We laughed, but in all seriousness, I am so grateful that he was called by God to restore Christ’s true church in these latter days.
We had such a good conversation that you could honestly feel the Spirit. I'm so grateful for missionaries, and I’ve been taught by some many at this point, sharing their light and knowledge with me! ✨
Why I do NOT want to get my Patriarchal blessing:
Honestly, I'm so afraid. What if my blessing tells me something negative? I've heard stories of women that their patriarchal blessing said they wouldn't be able to have children, and sure enough, it came true, and they had to adopt.
What if mine says that I'll never find a husband, I'll never have babies, and I'll be alone forever and ever?? I'll be so sad!
Have you ever had your blessing say something that maybe wasn't that good and it came to pass? How did you live with it? Deep down, I want to get the blessing, but I just have so many fears about it 🥺
I will praise the Lord in all places! I don't care how many funny looks I get. Maybe by reading my Bible in public, someone somewhere will be inspired to come back to the Lord 🙏🏼
If I could bring just one soul closer to Christ, it would be worth it one hundred fold 🤍
My first time at Institute tonight was awesome! 🤩
There were quite a lot of young people there, and they were all so nice and welcoming. What I love most about it is how seriously everyone took it. So many people were providing excellent insights, raising their hands, and wanting to be involved.
In this modern, secular world, it's so rare to see people on fire with love for Christ and his gospel. Being amongst people who love the Word of God as much as I do just filled my heart with so much joy 🤍
We went over the Lord's Prayer. As a former Catholic, I knew this prayer like the back of my hand. But even though I've said it thousands of times, it was so cool to dissect it, go through it line by line, and really understand what I had been saying all of these years. There's so much meaning in that simple prayer that I never thought of before.
I feel so grateful that I found my community: people who love God and are striving to live by his Word. Can't wait for next week! 🙌🏼
As a former Catholic, this warms my heart. I love our first presidency so much! They truly are peacemakers, and I join them in praying for Pope Leo. 🙏🏼
The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has shared the following statement about the health of Pope Leo XIV:
“We express our heartfelt concern for Pope Leo XIV as he confronts health challenges and extend our sincere wishes for his comfort, strength, and a swift recovery. We join with people of faith around the world in praying that heaven will bless and sustain him during this time. May he feel the peace and healing power of our Savior, Jesus Christ.”

Now that I live in London, there are churches everywhere! ⛪️
I try to step into a church to pray every single day. I love to be in sacred spaces with people who praise the Lord 🤍
Even if I'm running an errand, if I see a church, I'll always try to stop in for a second and say a quick hello to my Savior 👋
I've always wanted this life: one where God can so easily accompany me throughout my day, and where I can come visit Him whenever I feel like it. I feel so blessed! 🙌🏼
Attention Christmas Affectionados! I need your Christmas song suggestions! 🎄❄️🎄
I'm building out my set list for my Christmas concert now, and I am four songs short. Are there any unique or rarely done Christmas songs you can recommend, or songs that always give you chills and always remind you of Christmas? 🤍
Would love to hear your suggestions! 🥰
1 MILLION impressions!! 🎉
Thank you for everyone who has followed me along on my journey of conversion to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 🙏🏼
It's been quite a journey, starting from when I was the typical millennial girl boss who believed the lie that my career would fulfill me. I did all the things: I built a successful business, traveled the world speaking, gained accolades like writing a Wall Street Journal best-selling book and doing TEDx talks, and thought all of that would fulfill me. But it didn't.
For years, I searched for purpose and meaning, and I feel like I had a God-shaped hole in my heart, but I didn't know that's what it was. When I came upon the Book of Mormon, I was intrigued. It took me 9 months of lessons and reading through the Book of Mormon, the Pearl of Great Price, Doctrine and Covenants, and even the Joseph Smith translations to really know for myself that this was the true church. But Honestly, that's not what did it for me. I had a change of mind, but I hadn't yet had a change of heart.
It wasn't until the good people of the church really took me under their wing, started giving me priesthood blessings, and welcomed me into their homes and their community that I truly felt the Holy Spirit amongst the people of the church. I could no longer deny the presence of the Holy Ghost. Once my heart was converted, I had to get into the waters. Two months later, here I am, the happiest I've ever been in my life! ❤️
Thank you to everyone who's encouraged me on my journey, because, as you know, it hasn't been easy. My family was against me converting, and I even got a lot of slack and hate for it from people on this app. Those of you who have followed me had my back and encouraged me to keep going with my testimony, and it's meant the world to me 🤍
I consider you all my friends, and your words of encouragement have meant more to me than you can ever know. Thank you for following along, and this is just the beginning of my walk with Christ. I hope you'll continue to walk with me through all of my exciting adventures! 🎉
I got to sing in Latin in the Hyde Park church today! They let me practice in the chapel for my Christmas concert that’s coming up 🎄
Does anyone know the name of the song in English? I bet you can guess 😎
Just did a photoshoot today in London for my Instagram! (I have over 100k followers over there, and they like pics 🙈)
You guys get a sneak peek before them before I like you better! 🤩
