WATCH: Fishermen in #Cadgwith are delighted that a crowdfunder to buy 17th century lofts has raised £100k in just two weeks!
They need to raise £300k to secure them, otherwise the buildings will be listed on the open market.

Our crowdfunder has reached our first goal of £100k, a huge milestone on our mission to raise the £300k needed to buy the lofts
With another £200k to raise, we can't slow down. The crowdfunder is still open and auctions are coming up so please help spread the word 💙

Don't know if you've been watching This Fishing Life on the BBC, but there is one storyline that really resonated. Cadgwith Cove has had a small sustainable fishing fleet for thousands of years, and now it's under threat. @cove_trust means it can be saved......1/2

2/2 the small fleet is can only launch in good sea conditions, a natural quota system for them, and uses only static gear. This is not some historic throwback, it's a model of sustainability for the future. Event to be announced soon to raise funds (you can watch me hurl again)..

We are overwhelmed by the support we've received since last night's Episode of #ThisFishingLife on @BBCTwo
If you haven't already, please donate to our crowd funder page here rb.gy/poxxrb to keep our fishing buildings for the fishermen, not developers 🐟
