On va avoir un second tour Raphaël Glucksmann 🆚 David Lisnard and I think that il se passe quelque chose.

The chart incorrectly lists xAI at 0% open weights. xAI released Grok-1 and Grok-2 weights on Hugging Face. The chart's author later acknowledged a data glitch and updated the site.

Breaking News!
Code: y-Axis Alert!
Yesterday's Nino 3.4 preliminary sea-surface temperature anomaly set a new record high, at 3.48°C above the 1991-2020 baseline. To clearly show this anomaly, the y-axis max was raised to 4.0°C.
Attention historians: this is gobsmackingly bananas.

🇺🇸🇺🇦 Zelensky offered the US three options to stop strikes on Russian refineries!
"I said: if you want us not to hit diesel, refineries, then let them (the Russians, - ed.) not hit our electricity. This is fair. An energy truce.
The second option is you open Starlink over Russia, we show you the places where there are ballistic missile launchers. We want to destroy them.
The third option is if you don't open Starlink to us, and it depends only on you, and you said that Musk doesn't want it, then give us something that doesn't depend on Musk and Putin - missiles for Patriot."

My prediction for software engineering over the next 3 to 5 years.
AI won't replace software engineers. It'll drive even greater demand for them.
A team of 5 experienced engineers using AI will outperform a team of 20 pre-AI.
Which will dramatically reduce the cost of building software.
I think we'll see Jevons paradox in action. As something becomes cheaper and more efficient to produce, demand for it can increase dramatically.
Thousands of software projects that previously weren't economically viable will become worth doing.
The winners will be companies, big and small, that behave like Google, Amazon and 3M, with a culture of experimentation, a willingness to try lots of ideas and the discipline to kill their darlings.
TL/DR: Smaller engineering teams, more innovation, more software products, and potentially more software engineers than ever.
What do you think?
