🐋🚨 The Senate votes MONDAY on a bill that would weaken the Endangered Species Act!
For more than 50 years, the Endangered Species Act has protected dozens of species from going extinct. But S.5653, the Senate’s permitting reform bill, would rush the scientific reviews that protect endangered animals so development projects can move faster.
It would also weaken the Clean Water Act, cutting oversight of the rivers, streams, and wetlands that wildlife depend on. We can’t let Congress gut two of the most successful environmental laws in history! ⚠️

2️⃣ CALL them next 📞 Dial (202) 224-3121, ask for your senator’s office, and say:
“Hello, my name is [NAME], and I’m a voter from [CITY/TOWN]. I’m calling to urge Senator [NAME] to vote NO on S.5653, the permitting reform bill. It would gut protections under the Endangered Species Act and the Clean Water Act and put species on the brink of extinction at even greater risk. Please vote NO. Thank you!”

Hunting is cruel and should have no place in modern Britain. Yet, twenty years after the Hunting Act, trail hunting continues to be used as a cover for illegal hunts.
I've signed a letter to the Prime Minister and written to the Environment Secretary calling for a ban on trail hunting, tougher enforcement, and for the Hunting Act to be strengthened by closing loopholes and ending exemptions that allow hunts to continue.
It's time to close the loopholes and strengthen the law once and for all.

Colorado voters have rejected a “right to hunt” amendment, in addition to Denver voters passing a ban on the production and sale of foie gras.
“Colorado’s wildlife belongs to us all—not just those who want to kill it—and we all deserve a say in how these animals are treated,” says @humaneworldorg.
Amendment 83 would have enshrined the “right to hunt” in the state’s constitution, including the use of “traditional methods” to hunt wildlife, which could have threatened existing bans on cruel hunting practices. Denver’s Ordinance 311 bans the painful force-feeding of birds and sale of foie gras.

✅ Ashley Hinson and Roger Marshall, supporters of the dangerous Save Our Bacon Act that would put farmed animals back in cages, lose their seats
This is why animal advocates need to be politically active!
When we show up at the ballot box, animals win. 💪
