I ... Judge Reyes ... she trusted WHAT?!? 🤯
Replying to @kyledcheney
REYES on a tear: "I was hearing from everybody on plaintiffs side that this was going to happen. I said repeatedly no, I trust the government. I trusted you all not to do precisely what you have done. Not only does that make it inexcusable ... I am just at a total loss to understand what has happened here, other than — Occam’s razor time — that the government precisely intended to do precisely what it has done, which is intentionally delay letting the pantiffs and the court know what is happening so they can put a plan in place to clear hundreds and hundreds of trees."
You put me on blast, then prevented me from replying. So I'll do so here:
1. It's history, not revisionism. And it's still happening – "settlers," with the encouragement of Netanyahu's administration, are brutally stealing land from them today.
1. Yes it does. Last sentence. It says that Israel “occupies” their land. That’s historical revisionism.
2. The broadcasts were consistent - celebrations in the street, cheering, handing out cakes, just like on Oct 7th, including when Hamas paraded the severed heads of Israeli women.
3. Citizenship was offered to all Arabs in 1948. Those who stayed were granted equal rights under law. Those who left at the behest of 5 Arab nations so that they could wipe out the Jews unencumbered were not welcomed back.
4. Israel left Gaza in 2005. They even were required to dig up and take their dead with them. No Jews were allowed in Gaza for 18 years prior to Oct 7. Gaza was not “occupied” except by Hamas and the people who elected them.
2. I said "some." And you ignored everything after that.
3. The claim that 700,000 people abandoned their homes and orchards for cynical reasons is a lie. Most were refugees fleeing the violence of war. And there was a catch to Israel's citizenship offer:
I oppose Israel's attempted genocide against Palestinians. And the U.S. must stop being an accessary to these crimes.
Having made that clear, I believe anyone claiming Hasan Piker wasn't threatening American Jews is being as obtuse as those who defend Trump's own coded threats.
Just say you don't trust Christ. That is who your argument is with @CheriFromNJ.
Anyone who claims Israel drags the U.S. into wars, while failing to mention Saudi Arabia's influence on American presidents, is telling on themselves. nytimes.com/2026/03/24/us/po…
Shame on you @creighdeeds. You owe Vogelsong an apology.
To be clear, my motive in wanting to see the annual JIRC report is not to "get juicy bits of gossip," as @CreighDeeds characterized me in yesterday's Courts of Justice hearing. It is to know what judges JIRC has found violated the canons of judicial conduct.
As a young man, this non-citizen made an innocent mistake: he registered to vote.
But then he did something REALLY stupid. He voted for Trump.

Why do I get the feeling "average American" means white conservatives?
"On too many stories, the press has missed the story. Because we've taken into account the perspective of advocates and not the average American. Or we put too much weight in the analysis of academics or elites, and not enough on you."
That changes now. The new CBS Evening News starts Monday at 6:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

"The election was close, but the vibes have been a rout." nytimes.com/2025/01/19/opini…
Does mainstream journalism play any role in creating vibes? @ezraklein dismisses the notion in a single obtuse sentence, declaring "What Democrats have is an attention problem, not a media problem."
Anyone familiar with the Center For Healthy Churches?
My church is hiring them to help navigate congregational divisions. Wondering what to expect. @elimcgowan @JoashPThomas @KevinYoung2007 @sheilagregoire @rickpidcock @TylerHuckabee @thecachinnator @hoopersnook @scott_m_coley
This is the logic of those who lead mobs. They claim their elected leaders are out of touch, and whip up popular sentiment in order to bend justice to their will. (See the lynching of Leo Frank and thousands of others.)
Every single county in California went “yes” on Prop. 36, the tougher-on-crime initiative that won by a 40-point margin.
Still, @GavinNewsom and most Democrat leaders in California opposed it, and Kamala Harris refused to endorse it. Such a disconnect with average Californians.
I've seen enough.
My white Christian brethren have returned a foolish, evil man and his entourage to power. God help us.
