I drive a Tesla Model Y and use a wheelchair. For me, FSD isn’t just about convenience—it has the potential to provide real independence for people with disabilities.
However, the self-parking feature currently avoids parking spaces specifically marked for handicap parking, which creates a challenge. As someone who relies on these designated spots, I often have to take over and park manually.
Tesla should consider adding an option that allows drivers to enable parking in handicapped spaces when needed.
FSD has the potential to be truly life-changing for disabled drivers. I hope @Tesla and @elonmusk prioritize accessibility as they continue to develop this technology
