Today, we unveiled the #RainbowHalo project with our first memorial honoring Conor Lynch. On October 19, 2010, while training with his cross country team, Conor was killed by a hit-and-run driver. He was 16 years old. cc: @LADOTofficial @davideryu #FamiliesForSafeStreets
The Rainbow Halo is a partnership between @LADOTofficial, @Culture_LA and SoCal Families for Safe Streets to honor victims of fatal traffic crashes and raise awareness of traffic fatalities. Thank you to artist John Morse and Conor's mother Jeri Dye Lynch.
If you have lost a loved one in a traffic crash, contact SoCal FSS at [email protected] to connect with a network of survivors and request a #RainbowHalo to honor your loved one. To learn more about Conor, visit inhonorofconor.org.
