In pregame chapel we talked with the refs about throwing yellow flags to calm down emotions on the football field. Emotions were high in this Texas high school rivalry game and the flags started flying. Here's a real-time look at what we discussed pregame in chapel for football referees. #Bible #football #shorts #referee #SportsMinistry #YellowFlag #HighSchoolFootball #PregameChapel #Emotions #TexasFootball

POV looking over the shoulder of a Texas high school football player. Notice the FEAR NOT decal on the helmet. The team is using this as their focus and mindset this season, rooted in Scripture (Isaiah 41:10 / Joshua 1:9). #Bible #Jesus #amen #FearNot #SportsMinistry #TexasFootball #HighSchoolFootball #BibleMindset #Isaiah4110 #Joshua19 #Scripture

People think prayer kills the hype. It actually grounds it. There is a massive difference between the unbridled energy of the tunnel and the controlled joy of a team that just sought God together through praying. #football #prayer #sports #pray #sidelines #highschoolfootball #emotional

This is how Texas high school football players stay calm in the storm of emotions before a big rivalry game. They have just run onto the field with fans screaming. Their hearts are beating out of their chests. The band is still playing and you can hear the fans cheering. So how do these athletes calm their brains and bodies? They kneel in the end zone to pray. Some football players pray on their own. Some gather with a teammate to pray. #football #sports #prayer #highschoolfootball #Jesus

Check out what I saw on a football helmet before a Texas high school football game. "FEAR NOT" What a beautiful reminder of Isaiah 41:10: "Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’" #Bible #football #sports #helmet #fearnot #Jesus #isaiah4110 #amen

His season ended in the second game with a leg injury, but he’s still on the sideline praying for the safety of his brothers. This is what real brotherhood looks like under the Friday Night Lights. 🏈🙏 #Jesus #praying #amen #football

True leadership isn't just about what you do on the field; it's about who you are when the stadium lights are on and everyone is watching. Huge respect to this veteran captain for openly crossing himself and putting Christ first in front of his teammates, classmates, and the whole community. Unashamed faith is the ultimate example. 🏈✝️

I loved hearing Trinidad Chambliss giving Jesus praise, while also explaining if people are going through a dark time, to lean into Jesus.
