2022 and we're hearing that students should speak 70% and teachers only 30% in their world language classrooms. In levels 1, 2 and 3 this is a GREAT way to ensure kids do not reach intermediate level by the time they graduate. #langchat #notascienceclass #comprehensionfirst

The moral to the story: We don’t know each other’s language stories. We don’t know what went well in our educations and what didn’t, so shaming anyone for a language that isn’t their native one is a deed done foolishly and can hurt beyond the errors being pointed out. /14

Here's what I came up with for today for my World History classes. We've talked a lot about how history can be healing, so I leaned into it.
If you ever have to experience the loss of a student in your class, please take & use as a resource.

We're extending Early Bird registration through October 16th. We're about 25 attendees short for the conference to happen. If you're on the fence about attending we hope you'll make the decision to support our conference by registering soon. CIMW22.EVENTBRITE.COM #langchat
