Skrizzly Adams, Black Bird Elementz, Joel Plaskett, Charles Tilden and Ben Schillaci, Hamilton Philharmonic Orchestra all brought it last night and I hope your city felt alive as ours did and of course John Summit, but I do wonder if he is indeed better than Marshmello.
The original Erotica... There is not another album from the 80's that had themes of oral sex, paparazzi, spousal abuse, affairs, threesomes, trucker sex, having sex with your therapist, looking for sex in a taxi and then ending with the devasting The Right Moment..
I appreciate that L.A has pure madness for options tonight
My Chemical Romance, Weezer & SSPU, Gorillaz, Jay Z, Marshmello, Animal Collective, The Offspring, Madeon, Gryffi, Kool And The Gang & Zapp Band
endless choices that doesn't even include the small venues.
Have Fun!
$11.00 I actually thought it might get 6 bucks..
Some of the B-sides of this era are just unspeakably beautiful .. Ugly, Aeroplane flies high, God, Believe, Said Sadly..... just off the top of my head.
Heads up L.A if you need something to do tonight Jay Z is gonna to get really really cheap, it's now hovering at $30 but dropping a buck every 30 minutes.
Also if you wanna see an act better than Jay Z. Fartbarf is playing the Redwood downtown for $15.
well I guess I am rotating nights in April between Kylie and Iron Maiden, Maiden on Thurs and Sat, Kylie on both Fridays.... Thank god I got pit for Maiden in Devore.. cos Devore is like Fresno...
I admit @StubHub has done a lot of shifty things this year but selling tickets and bringing Sinéad O'Connor back from the dead takes the cake.
How can we be in October and already I have 12 must-see concerts in April, and that is not including Coachella which most likely will be 2 weekends this year and lets not even mention May which is already filling up.
now lets see how much prices go up!
LIVE NATION are delighted to announce the surprise return to North America of IRON MAIDEN and their spectacular RUN FOR YOUR LIVES show in the spring of 2027 for a very special third and final leg of the tour.
Following the packed shows and rave reactions across Canada and the USA for the recently concluded North American leg of their 50th Anniversary RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR Iron Maiden will return to North America in 2027 to play a further 16 shows.
Maiden, a 2026 inductee into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, will play mainly in regions that the current tour missed, in a mix of indoor and outdoor venues, and will conclude with two festival headline performances at Sonic Temple and Boardwalk Rock. They will, of course, be bringing their full, dramatic production for each and every performance.
Says Steve Harris, “As many of our fans know, Maiden were planning on taking a break from live performances in 2027, but we’ve been enjoying this last leg in the USA and Canada so much that we all had a chat and decided we should take the show to parts we missed, particularly the North West and South East. It just seems fair to our many fans there who have given us tremendous support for so many years. We can’t get everywhere but we can try! Also, we have always enjoyed playing the many great festivals that are in Europe and wanted to experience a couple more in the USA which we will do at the end of the tour in Columbus and Maryland. At festivals you are not just playing to your own fans so it’s always a challenge and we all love a challenge!”
Manager Rod Smallwood comments, “The first leg was terrific, huge sell-out crowds of all ages spanning multi-generations, some of the biggest shows we have ever played in North America with rave fan and media reactions, and just a great all round vibe and camaraderie from our fans, including in our Eddie’s Dive Bars everywhere. And I know as I go to every one of them! In fact it was so good we just have to come back and play some places we missed and bring Eddie’s Dive Bars with us!
“It is amazing that even after all these years we played to many more people per show than ever before and headlined our first stadium shows in the USA. We have been selling out arenas in all parts of North America since 1983 - bar a short period in the 90s – and the band’s following here continues to grow despite an almost total lack of mainstream radio support and never even having a track reach the Billboard Hot 100! For that we have to thank our amazing fans, and it proves that word of mouth still means a lot. We look forward to seeing you all again next Spring”.
These shows will DEFINITELY be the last of the already legendary RUN FOR YOUR LIVES TOUR which by the end will have played 107 shows to well over 3 million fans in 36 countries – now that really is the proper way to celebrate your 50th anniversary!
Special Guests on the tour will be fellow Brits, Bullet for My Valentine who recently announced their new album ‘Social Apocalypse’ due out on March 19 2027. This tour will be the band’s first highly anticipated shows in North America since their co-headline tour with Trivium early last year. Rounding out this exciting all-British bill will be The Raven Age, who recently supported Maiden on several South and Central American shows. Not since 1983 has Maiden chosen a three-band British bill and this return to their roots suits this final celebration of their early years and their 50th Anniversary!
The tour dates are as follows:
I had no idea the Eeels had a new album.. I do have a funny story about E but it goes ways back to 1992 which scares me on how old we have all become... anyways, I am gonna pop this on for morning workday..

This Binary Universe is such a beautiful piece of art, It was unexpected for me personally, I thought we were getting another mainstream album but quite opposite. It was really my introduction to Phillip Glass as I finally ready to explore more ambient music because of this album
keeping it simple..
I am very stoked this is coming out.

Rodney would always play The Fibonaccis.. I'm sure @richardblade played the video on MV3 cos it was embedded in my brain at a very young age . You could not buy this song at the time and every record store tried to sell me the Jimi Hendrix album but I had no idea who that was..
Imagine being the person who has to get all the licenses to make sure there were cool thing to look at in these racks😎
I was so disheartened when I would watch them bring out Brian Wilson at his later shows unable to move, it just humiliating.
Now seeing Mike Lowe go through the same humiliation feels like karma being served.
Its time to close this chapter of The Beach Boys.
It's been a thrill to see Men Without Hats go from opening band on 80's tours to a headliner based not only the strength of the songs that are not the "one hit" but the energy and overall great performance, they truly have won overand expanded the audience over the past 5 years.
I was ok until I saw the grounds and the stage and realized wait.why did we not go to this?
funny enough, this weekend over the past decade wants to kill me. Desert Trip, I blame the drinks, Heat stroke at Power Trip it was never under 110
Rainstorms and the flu at Desert Dazes
