There is only one store in all the world where you can purchased a signed copy of Countdown to Preparedness (2nd edition), and that's @VortexBookComix. Better hurry, though, as signed stock is limited.

Indie horror writer and super great guy Kristopher Rufty could use our community's help. If you have the means, please consider donating $5 or $10. gofundme.com/f/urgent-move-f…

If you gave a shit you'd attend a protest, engage with political reps, write an op-ed, etc. The only thing you give a shit about is social media engagement to fill the black hole where your self-esteem should be. And using the deaths of children to do it, you fucking ghoul.

Today is National Indie Bookstore Day. Instead of shopping at Amazon or B&N, give stores like Vortex Books & Comics, Park Books, Midtown Scholar, Butcher Cabin, Bucket of Blood, Poisoned Pen, Cupboard Maker, Copper Dog, Mysterious Galaxy, etc your $. Most have online stores, too!

can't thank the fine folks @VortexBookComix enough for fixing an order i placed. if i can't find it here locally, then local book stores elsewhere works for me. would rather spend my money there than big online stores. @BrianKeene @_jennykiefer @horrorbooks_ky @horrormuseum @tylercarney7 @TalkScaredPod

My home office. I used to write there several days a week but that was before you went trick-or-treating in New Jersey for 9 days and left me without a day off, so now I have to write at the store, while wedged between the register and an old radiator. Love you. 😘

Chillin @VortexBookComix with @BrianKeene and got me a stack for my winter TBR. I'll do a video with all the books when I get back to Colorado. Now off to a haunted house. Hope you're having a great #halloween

The pirate look is a go and ready to for my 20% discount @VortexBookComix. Don't know how long the hair will stay down in the heat. Looking to fill my TBR with the ladies. So if you identify as a femme fatale with books at Vortex, drop those titles. Happy #halloween

Memorials is an excellent read. Creative, scary, unpredictable and ties it all up. I highly recommend.

Sorry to hear of the death of Peter B. Gillis, who was perhaps too obscure to get a big outpouring of remembrances when he passed earlier this week. But I *loved* his New Defenders issues when I was a kid. The sort-of "offbeat" hero stuff we don't see much of anymore.
