Not sure where the origination of the change came from, but I agree with you 100%. Tired of the game changing to fit the comp madden complaints. The game went backwards today and made setting your OL protection pretty useless because people did not need to find blitzes in the game with DoN being so powerful.

I woke up today and it’s still real, EA made their o-line play worse on purpose because @Dcroft was too lazy to lab blitzes. I can’t believe they listen to comp idiots.

- Ran an esports program for 4 years - Been a part of multiple iterations of the MCS - Would listen to voices from the community and the company - Trusted by EA to be a part of multiple different titles/broadcast - Wants the MCS to stay strong for years and believes it can be the most approachable esport in the world to all age groups - Wants to work for EA full time #CommissionerMizesko

This is very sad to see as someone that got in to Madden because of the MCS. There was only 517 players this tournament to qualify for the elimination stage. For reference, the elimination stage is supposed to be 544 players, meaning that there wasn’t even enough of eligible players to fill the bracket. You could have played 15 games and lost all of them (-15) and qualified for this tournament. 27 people could have done that. Honestly I don’t know what is directly causing this other than the price of MUT, but this is very sad to see. I’m genuinely wondering what could save the MCS at this point. I’m thinking regs could possibly be the solution, but not sure if EA would even want that. Would love to hear others thoughts…

MCS was peak from 17-19 I had $0 to my name in 2017 and was able to compete and make $100,000+ in a year, that was the dream That itself is not possible anymore Its now required to Spend Thousands of Dollars for a chance MUT ruined MCS EA became too money hungry, now the interest is gone

I have a hot take. If MUT continues in it's current direction. MUT can no longer be the main competitive mode for the MCS.

I’ve been seeing a ton of tweets about the price of Mut and competing in the MCS. I agree the best possible team in Mut is more expensive than ever. But I would argue this is probably the best budget teams have also been in Mut in a long time. You can compete in the MCS with a 7 million coin budget team and only be at a marginal disadvantage against the 60 million coin best team possible. If you grind the game you can get an even better team without spending money. I honestly don’t see the issue

I'm pissed off for Nick and User today. They've HARD carried half a dozen production teams for the MCS and that continued with the Pro League. Criticizing THEM is so clueless on what they've had to deal with for years. Hating from outside the club for sure, but I'll say it:

MCS Pro League reaction

There is no incentive to streaming, it's the players job to compete not grow the esport. Should there be something done to incentivize streaming, probably, but players not streaming their games isn't on the players imo

Streaming the game YOURSELF is a competitive DISADVANTAGE, your opponent can have the stream up on another monitor or have someone watching and telling him what’s on your play art.

It is a shame that some of those good enough to compete on the final day are unwilling to do their part to grow the esport because they want to keep a competitive advantage. I think it is simple. When you have an opportunity to support a streamer M-F, reward the ones that streamed despite it being a competitive disadvantage and remember which ones decided to put all their eggs in the competitive basket when it came down to Saturday and Sunday.
