I got to go to my first Dragonsteel Con! It was waaaayy bigger than I expected, really cool booths and indie authors/artists. It was great meeting @paolini in person this time! And, I got Brandon Sanderson's autograph!

The WIRED article abt @BrandSanderson wasn't the bashing ppl think it was. Sure, he slams Sanderson's writing, but then writes about how ppl love the books bc of the stories, the worlds, and the characters. That's what matters.

Magic the Gathering folks- the new LOTR set looks like the art was done via AI. Yet, Wizards is charging an arm and a leg for the set. I feel completely conned. And, they messed up so much on the cards themselves, not applying the lore at all. Disappointed.

#writer tip for the day- if you struggle with character profiles, one list I love to use is by playwright Lajos Egri. He breaks it down really well into 3 categories: physiological, sociological, and psychological.
