Hello chère communauté, je me devais de vous partager ce cas d'école qui pourrait vous arriver et qui requiert un 🛑 UPDATE IMMÉDIATEMENT 🛑 si vous avez des disques HP/HPE qui datent un peu ! J'étais récemment chez un client qui après un redémarrage de son contrôleur HP StoreOnce 5100 (pas de ses JBOD) a ses 12 disques (oui 12 soit le pool entier du JBOD) en carafe. Naturellement on tente le reboot, on vérifie les composants hardware, le cablage SAS, l'I/O Module, rien n'y fait, les disques sont toujours inaccessibles et donc le stockage complet (soit 288tb raw) sont KO. Après avoir bien bien creusé, on tombe sur un bulletin HP qui indique que si certaines références de disques passent les 65 535h de fonctionnement, le disque passe en défaut et il devient impossible de les récupérer. (sauf intervention spécialisée je suppose). Donc si vous avez les refs listées, regardez vos versions de firmware et patchez tout de suite ! mirialinx.fr/blog/article/l-…

Aujourd'hui j'ai cassé 10 ans d'uptime de mon premier kimsufi (qui a changé 2x de carte mère) pour le passer de debian 8 à 13. Bah c'était quand même vachement long 🤣 et surtout ça permet de se rendre compte du nombre de protocoles/paquets devenus obseletes au fil du temps ! (algos, merged-usr etc..) Rien que la diff de paquets : openssh-server 6.7 vers 10, php5.6 vers 8.4 et surtout kernel 3.14 vers 6.12. Moralité : ne laissez pas traîner vos maj haha !
