Happy to announce WAVE has been acquired. My team and I gave everything we had to @WAVEDOTFUN for 5 years. You made it worth it, by using what we built and by pushing us harder. Bootstrapped it the whole way. No raise, no VC, no plan B. @solana only. Our vision was always to fix the problems trading apps have been carrying for years. We got further than most, and the product still has room to run, which is exactly why it deserved a team with more behind it than we had. After weighing up a few offers, we handed over the keys to a team we genuinely believe can carry it further than we could, with their own dev, social and financial resources behind it. What this means for our users: → the app and the prediction terminal go live again once the transition is complete, rebranded and including the new parimutuel prediction protocol we've been building over the past couple of months. → all user accounts and existing pools are unaffected and secure. Nothing is being reset or migrated away. → the new team will introduce themselves publicly in the coming weeks. We're proud of what we shipped over the years. A couple of viral apps, close to 10k users on the copy trading app and prediction terminal, over $5M in volume, all without outside funding. Everything from this acquisition goes into operations for our new TCG project that we've been building quietly for months. I'm excited to introduce it from my personal account in the next 2-4 weeks and ship it right after. And as promised, our community at WAVE gets special rights in it. That hasn't changed and won't.
