🚨Genesee County uses Flock cameras to capture and search vehicle data. But when Kettering University student Josh Tewolde requested records showing where the cameras are, who accessed the data and whether his vehicle was scanned, the county withheld key information.
Its excuse? The records belong to Flock, a private contractor. But the county’s own contract says it owns the data.
Josh is suing because government should not be able to hide public surveillance records behind a private company. If the government uses the cameras, the public deserves transparency.

This @NYCHealthSystem Police permit is a #FakePlacard.
And it's always dangerous and illegal to use a placard to block a fire hydrant.
But we see this #ThreatToPublicSafety over and over because #NYPDSoftOnCrime.

Taxpayers have provided the @NYPDnews with plenty of parking.
There are several locations like this where their spots sit empty because parking illegally closer to their station is a little more convenient for them than walking a couple of blocks.

I'm BACK with a new investigation: A fleet of unlicensed tow trucks has been growing in NYC, racing through the streets with fatal consequences. I used data to reveal that there are at least 700 illegal tow trucks in the city. gothamist.com/news/ghost-fle…

NEW: A former senior aide to Mayor Eric Adams who was charged with organizing an illegal straw donor scheme for the mayor has agreed to plead guilty to conspiracy.
If he cooperates with prosecutors, Mohamed Bahi could be a key witness against the mayor.

Apparently if you scribble "Manhattan Propery Clerk" on some trash paper and throw it on the dashboard with a @NYCPBA "courtesy" card, you can just go ahead and park illegally on the sidewalk down the street from @NYPDPC's "law enforcement" headquarters.

I recently took an Uber in Scottsdale, AZ. Coincidentally, my driver, Jawhar Jordan, grew up in Brooklyn’s Bed–Stuy — a neighborhood that used to be one of the poorest in New York, but which my father helped revitalize decades ago.
Back in the 1960s, my father set up the Bed-Stuy restoration project to rebuild the neighborhood, and Jawhar remembers how much the program did for his community. Rather than simply handing out welfare checks, the organization helped to create jobs, foster community, and keep families together — goals I will hold close to my heart as president. #Kennedy24

We cannot trust anything coming out of DOC. Sadly CHS is complicit as long as workers stand by and support the narrative. This is why we need INDEPENDENT COMMUNITY medical workers and per advocates to SAVE PEOPLE'S LIVES!
Corrections officials initially suspected Curtis Davis died of a drug overdose or heart attack, according to jail insiders.
But the city’s medical examiner has ruled the cause of the death a suicide by hanging, a OCME spokesperson told @THECITYNY.

TWENTY-FIVE Prime, young, healthy SLAVES; The Choice of a Cargo imported at St. Christopher's, and just arrived from that Island."
