This is very real. I've seen many high-powered software engineering ICs turn people managers and become completely detached from the tech. Like, you cannot imagine that they were ever truly technical.
If you make the step to management you need to be paranoid this does not happen to you. The good news: AI has made this 100x easier. There is just no reason not to have an agent hacking during that 1:1 about performance scores

I’ve been using this for a while myself with the watched queries functionality to easily track the progress of my target queries.

It’s that weird bit in between Christmas and New Year...
In this period (Q5 lol) I like to reflect on the year, and set goals for the next.
It’s mad to look back from Jan and see just how much was achieved, even though the year went by in a flash.
